As it turns out, the man who plays everyone's favorite, lovable and friendly Spider-Man
, Tobey Maguire, is nothing like his on-screen counterpart.
The actor made headlines in the summer of 2014 when top poker hostess Molly Bloom wrote a memoir. In it, she exposed Maguire for having abhorrent behavior at the tables.
In addition to describing Maguire as the "worst tipping guy" and the "worst loser," Bloom told a story about how he once ordered her to "bark like a seal that wants a fish" in exchange for a $1,000 chip. .
When she politely declined and tried to laugh, Maguire apparently held the chip over her head and said:
"I'm not kidding. What's the big deal? Don't you need money? Aren't you going to bark for a thousand dollars?... CAN!"
